BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME. During The Rising tour Bruce and the E Street Band proposed a personal interpretation of what is universally known as "the sixties sound". At times it was a chance to have some special guests on stage, at other times it was only a way of having fun as in the past. The fact is that some sonorities that were missing from mid-80s reappeared in the 2002-2003 sound of the E Street Band and they marked the return to rock'n'roll of the greatest stage-machine of all the times. These two cds were born for capturing all in one breath that magic sound and fixing the most important moments. They are mainly made up of covers but there are also three Bruce's songs in them, three gems that mark the ties that bind the E Street sound to the music of the fathers. Turn off the light and play it loud!
