The above lyrics are for the live 11 Sep 2021 performance of I'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS at World Trade Center Memorial Plaza in New York City, NY, during an appearance at the ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. The song was played solo on acoustic guitar and harmonica.
Springsteen's appearance, which was unannounced, was just after a moment of silence at 9:03am which marked the moment hijacked airplane United Airlines Flight 175 was flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
