Welcome back to the series of probably uncirculated audience recordings. So the story goes, Tape Man Joe attended many concerts. Joe used a Sony D6 with a Nakamichi microphone and TDK metal tapes. Joe made a few copies and gave them to friends but never actively traded his recordings. Recently Joe lent a few of his masters to his friend, Jungleland user G (a generous collector himself who has lent tapes from his collection to help upgrade many shows). G asked me to finish off the transfers and post them.

Over the course of the Tape Man Joe collection, I haven’t released consecutive shows from all of the stands that Joe recorded. That changes here with the back-to-back shows from the 1992 stand at the Meadowlands. I picked this show out of the queue for couple of reasons. One, I am gravely busy this time of year and this is one of the best recordings in said queue. Two, the set list is very unique. Tour premieres of “Atlantic City” “Spirit In The Night” and 
“I’m On Fire. The world premieres of “Pony Boy” and “Cross My Heart”.

Recorder one has long circulated as “Wild New Jersey”. The source tape clearly came from a cassette at some point. Joe’s master is clearer, with better 
high and low end response. See samples below.

Known faults:
Tape flip between "The River" and " "Living Proof". Not patched.

"Atlantic City", "Spirit In The Night" (in a Bruce, Roy, and backup singers arrangement), the first of two tour versions of "Pony Boy", "Downbound Train", "I'm On Fire" and the first of two performances of "Cross My Heart", in a full band version, are added to the 30-song set. "Jersey Girl" closes the show again. "The Star-Spangled Banner" is played as a lead-in to "Born In The U.S.A.".
