We welcome the return of the DS Archives with a major upgrade to the first of two nights at Richfield Coliseum early in the Born In The USA tour.

A few months ago we released a previously uncirculated Recorder 2 version of the second night as part of the Two Of Us Master Series.

With this release we have a major upgrade to the first night, so far no additional recorders have surfaced for the first night though that will change once I receive the Two Of Us Master but for now we are pleased to upgrade the currently circulating recorder with a low gen version out of the DS Archives. 

I recognized the writing on the tape and this is either a first gen or second gen copy. Quality is night and day compared to the unknown generation copy currently circulating (which actually appears to be from a transfer I did decades ago out of my own archives).

There are still many shows to work through out of the DS Archives and we can only hope there continue to be more gems like this one which should put some renewed focus on this excellent performance.

Thanks to goody for the always spot on pitch assistance and to Dan S for keeping his archives safe for decades so we can all now enjoy again and again..
