My first restoration work on Bruce's studio sessions dates back to around 2010, precisely on the "LA Garage Sessions '83". With the progress made in these fifteen years, a few months ago I thought about taking these sessions back and doing the work from scratch. I didn't know that Bruce would finally give us his official version of these sessions. These recordings were born in a troubled period, immediately after the release of the album "Nebraska", in which Bruce became aware of the need for greater freedom and greater control in the production phase of the songs. As Bruce writes in the presentation of the official album to be released soon: "This album is a lo-fi exploration, acting as a crucial link between Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A." Given the official release coming soon, initially, I thought about stopping this work, but then, I realized that it would be nice to compare all the material we have until now, with what Bruce will propose to us in a few days. So, in this collection, you will find 53 tracks, all from the "Lost Masters", tracks appropriately demixed and then remixed, for a better sound quality, but always and as always, completely genuine. NB: The tacks signed "@" are slightly different from those found on the Lost Masters series, but completely original.
