Notes from info file:

New tape transfer of an alternative source to that previously transferred by Ivan. As far as I am aware that this source is not currently in circulation. There is also a DVD of this show that has been on Jungleland but that has different audio.

2 TDK D90 tapes from a UK Record fair.

Playback via Yamaha KX480 tape deck.

Recorded using Audacity, exported as flac files and tracks split using CD Wave.

Files tested and checked for errors and SBEs using TLH. Some edits resulted in SBEs which were fixed using TLH.

Reasonably good quality and listenable particularly early on but with considerable variation between tape sides so a couple were transferred with dolby B and others with dolby off to try to balance the sound. Tape hiss will differ in places as a result. IMHO the first set is a little bit better quality than Ivan's source. On the other hand I'm On Fire through Pink Cadillac to Bobby Jean is relatively poor and sounds flat even with dolby off.

For one tape side only it was necessary to normalise each channel separately for balance. No other processing was performed except for a small edit described below.

Disc configuration as for Ivans version but other options may work as well.

I did a slight edit for the end of the first tape side after the River by taking a small section from Ivan's source to bridge the gap. This has given Ivan's "lady friend" from the other source a cameo role on this version. I thought this was ok because there is another girl on this tape for her to talk to, she promised not to scream and she has a nice laugh! The other tape ends were after Thunder Road and Pink Cadillac with nothing I can do with those.
