THAT'S WHAT YOU GET
The moonlight dances on her face
I got my lips ???
I'm living the life of a lie
It was for me, for me that she died
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
???
True love, unhappiness
I fall down on my knees and I cry
Its my way of saying goodbye
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
The moonlight is ??? on the ???
As I ??? into my head
And I, I'm gonna cry
It's my way of saying goodbye
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
That's what you get for loving me
Bruce's first ever recording, this was written in the back seat of a car on the way to the studio.
Co-written with George Theiss, this immature, yet catchy tune, was a sign of things to come. Only a few copies
survive on acetate. The lyrics are almost indecipherable in places
Written by Bruce and George Theiss (Castiles) and recorded with the band on 18 May 1966 in Mr. Music Inn,
Bricktown, New Jersey.
Compairs, with BABY I in the very first Bruce acetate, at least 3 acetates
still exist...
