The song was then played on most the shows in Europe, often as the final encore. When the tour returned to the US in the summer, the song was occasionally performed, mostly as a show opener. Played a total of 35 times during The River tour.

The song was used as an occasional encore song during the Born In The USA tour in 1985, played "all over the world" (Australia, Japan, Europe, and the US) a total of 15 times. The 16-month Born In The USA tour was one of the most successful in rock history.
