The above lyrics refer to Heather Nova's live version which she recorded live in Nagoya. The song was first released in 1996 on her CD EP Truth & Bone, in 2000 on her live album Wonderlust. Her recording was also included on Born To Run 2003 Volume 2, a various artists Springsteen tribute album released as a bonus with the Apr 2003 issue of UK's Uncut Magazine. Note the lyrics modifications on Heather's version to fit the feminine sex.
