HEY TONIGHT

Hey, tonight
Gonna be tonight
Don't you know I'm flyin'
Tonight, tonight

Hey, c'mon
Gonna chase tomorrow
Tonight, tonight

Gonna get it to the rafters
Watch me now
Jody's gonna get religion
All night long

Hey, c'mon
Gonna hear the sun
Tonight, tonight

Gonna get it to the rafters
Watch me now
Jody's gonna get religion
All night long

Aaah!
Hey, tonight
Gonna be tonight
Don't you know I'm flyin'
Tonight, tonight
Tonight, tonight

Written by John Fogerty, from Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1970 album Pendulum. The above lyrics refer to their album version.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Pendulum

Reported to be sound-checked during the Human Touch tour on 28 May 1993 at Stockholms Stadion, Stockholm, Sweden, but not played during the show.

Later performed on 21 Oct 1994 at The Playpen, a small club in Sayreville, NJ, during a surprise appearance when Bruce joined John Eddie, Greg Kihn, Marshall Crenshaw, and Elliott Murphy on stage for a five-song set. That was Bruce's first and only public live performance of HEY TONIGHT.

The song was also performed at The Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ, during the private benefits fundraiser shows for the Rumson Country Day School, on 13 and 14 Apr 2002, 30 Apr 2003, and 25 Apr 2004.
