First written by Bruce Springsteen for Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes' album Hearts Of Stone, 1978. Recorded during the Darkness On The Edge Of Town sessions. The mix recorded on 14 Oct 1977 at the Record Plant, New York City, NY, was later released on the Tracks collection and on 18 Tracks. Also appeared on a promo single in Spain and Holland in 1999 with SAD EYES, JANEY DON'T YOU LOSE HEART, and I WANNA BE WITH YOU.

The song appeared live only three times:
- 19 May 1978 at Paramount Theatre, Asbury Park, NJ, during the Darkness On The Edge Of Town tour rehearsals, with Southside Johnny
- 26 Nov 1988 at The Stone, San Francisco, CA, with Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes
- 28 Apr 1999 at Halle Tony Garnier, Lyon, France, during the Reunion tour, during the sound-check
