GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY©

DETROIT MEDLEY version

Good Golly Miss Molly, sure like a ball
Good Golly Miss Molly, sure like a ball
When you're rockin' and a rollin', can't hear your momma call

From the early early mornin' to the early early night
I see Miss Molly rockin' at the house of blue lights
Good Golly Miss Molly, sure like a ball
When you're rockin' and a rollin', can't hear your momma call

Written by Blackwell and Marascallo and originally performed by Little Richard. These lyrics refer to the two verses that Bruce always used as part of the DETROIT MEDLEY, after DEVIL WITH THE BLUE DRESS and before C.C. RIDER. As far as it's known, Bruce never performed the original full version.

Played during the Born To Run tour, the Darkness On The Edge Of Town tour, The River tour, the Born In The USA tour, the Tunnel Of Love Express tour, and The Rising tour. Also played in some off-tour occasions, as during the M.U.S.E. shows in 1979.
