My dad worked for fifty years, just turned 59
There in the cold, he lose his job down, they tell him he's too old
Back in '59 he worked in production on the Ford plant assembly line
Pluggin' in them, slappin' in them firewalls and windshields
Now they don't give him piece of their minds, Stockton

Yeah you just don't count, when you're from Stockton, they turn you down

This is a very early acoustic demo of GLORY DAYS recorded in early 1982. It appears on The Lost Master Vol. 10 and The Lost Masters Essential collection I bootlegs. An extra verse outtake also exists.
