This early version of ALL I NEED was played briefly in the rehearsals of one of the Jul 1981 Meadowlands Bruce shows (a The River tour show) in which Gary "U.S." Bonds appeared as guest. This very unfinished home demo was recorded on 08 Jul 1981 at the Brendan Byrne Arena, The Meadowlands, N.J. It has some bluffed lyrics and shouted out key changes common to a sound check tune. Bruce later worked on it and wrote it for Gary "U.S." Bonds' album On the Line, 1982. An alternative version also exists.
