* Most of the times, "They fit you with religion" replaced "They fit you with position" during the Tunnel Of Love, and Human Touch tours.

** Like they used to it during the Darkness On The Edge Of Town tour, Bruce and the band stop playing like if it's the end of the song, but for a much shorter time. The crowd starts cheering and applauding, and Bruce and the band suddenly resume playing and continue with the third verse.

*** During the Tunnel Of Love tour, starting on the 19 Jun 1988 show at Hippodrome De Vincennes, Paris, France, lyrics from Muddy Waters' MANNISH BOY were added to the end of ADAM RAISED A CAIN. Check out the live 28 Feb 1988 version which doesn't have this outro.
