The above lyrics are for the live 19 May 1978 performance of (I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION at Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, NJ, during a private warm-up rehearsal for the Darkness On The Edge Of Town Tour. The song was played in an instrumental-only arrangement and Clarence Clemons played the vocal line on saxophone.

(I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION is known to have been performed at least once in Springsteen's early years (pre-October 1972), in the autumn of 1965 in Monmouth County, NJ, with The Castiles. No audio recording of this show is known to exist. Very little is known about shows from this early period, and therefore, the song may have been played on some more dates.
In preparation for the Darkness On The Edge Of Town Tour, (I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION is known to have been practiced on 19 May 1978 at Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, NJ, during the only known/confirmed private rehearsal prior to the tour's start.
(I CAN GET'T NO) SATISFACTION was performed off-tour on 20 Jan 1988 at Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, NY, during the third annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. The song was played with Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, and Mary Wilson sharing lead vocals, backed by The Rock Hall Jam Band. The live 20 Jan 1988 version of (I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION was first released on the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame + Museum Live: Sweet Emotion home video in 2009.
(I CAN GET'T NO) SATISFACTION was performed off-tour on 18 Jan 1989 at Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, NY, during the fourth annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. The song was played with Mick Jagger and Stevie Wonder on lead vocals and Bruce Springsteen on guitar and backup vocals, backed by The Rock Hall Jam Band. Steven Van Zandt occasionally played a bit of (I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION during TENTH AVENUE FREEZE-OUT on The Reunion Tour. See the live 15 Jun 1999 version of TENTH AVENUE FREEZE-OUT for an example. Additionally, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band occasionally played a bit of (I CAN GET'T NO) SATISFACTION during LIGHT OF DAY also on The Reunion Tour.
(I CAN GET'T NO) SATISFACTION was performed twice during the Working On A Dream Tour (83 dates, April to November 2009). The song was played in a full-band arrangement. The first of the two performances on this tour featured Jay Weinberg who substituted for his father on drums.
