RAISE YOUR HAND

Live 01 Sep 2001 version

(One, two, three!)

If there's something you need
Yeah, that you just don't have
Well don't ah-just sit there
Feeling bad
Come on now get up
Try and understand
Just raise your hand

Bring it up now!
Ah baby here I am (baby here I am)
You know I'm standing in line (you know I'm standing in line)
I want to give you my love (I want to give you my love)
Please let me try (please let me try)
Yeah, come on now get up
Try and understand
Just raise your hand

Are we ready?
Let's take it to the bridge!
Ah one, two, three, four!

Just raise your hand
And I'll understand
Oh yeah, oh yeah

Ah baby here I am (baby here I am)
You know I'm standing in line (you know I'm standing in line)
I wanna give you my love (I want to give you my love)
Please let me try (please let me try)
Yeah, come on now get up
Try and understand
Just raise your hand
(Raise your hand)
(Raise your hand)
(Raise your hand)
Oh, that's right!
(Raise your hand)
I want you to raise it
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
Play that B-3 man, come on, play that thing a little!
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
Raise your hand, raise your hand
Raise your hand, raise your hand
Raise your hand, raise your hand
Raise your hand, raise your hand
Raise your hand, raise your hand
Raise your hand, raise your hand
Now I want to get up
Try and understand

And I want you to pleeeeee-eee-ee-ee-ee-eeea
I said I want you to pleeeeee-eee-ee-ee-ee-eeea
I said I want you to pleeeeee-eee-ee-ee-ee-eeea
Come and raise your hand
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
Oh raise your hand
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
Raise your hand (raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)
(Raise your hand, raise your hand)

[Clarence (spoken):] Need I say more?

The Temple Of Soul

"The Temple Of Soul" is the name that Clarence Clemons has given for his on-tour dressing room. He told Backstreets magazine that "it's a place that's created. It's an atmosphere that's created, where we can go and have fun and come out with something rewarding. The Temple Of Soul is a spiritual place, it's not like most dressing rooms. Mostly I meditate and get treatments, stretching and stuff, before I go on stage. It's a pretty sane place, and we just try to take that energy on stage." In the early 2000s, Clemons would give the name "The Temple Of Soul" to a group he put together with producer Narada Michael Walden.
