The song was performed for the first time during the Darkness On The Edge Of Town tour, on 14 Aug 1978 at the Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA. Also known to be played at least 6 additional times during that tour.

Sound-checked during The River tour on 14 Oct 1980 at MECCA Arena in Milwaukee, WI, but not played during the show. During the 1981 part of the tour, the song was included at least six times in the DETROIT MEDLEY. Played off-tour on 29 May 1982 at Big Man's West, Red Bank, NJ.

Performed twice during the Born In The U.S.A. tour, on 31 Oct 1984 at the Sports Arena, Los Angeles, CA, and on 24 Sep 1985 at Mile-High Stadium, Denver, CO. Sound-checked during the Tunnel Of Love tour on 13 Mar 1988 at Richfield Coliseum, Cleveland, OH, but not played during the show.

A group called The Blasters played the song on 24 Mar 1995 at House Of Blues, Los Angeles, CA, with Bruce on guitar.
