I copied that portion of the audio (about half a second) from the left channel. -------------------------------------------------- Notes: This is an audience recording from the 11 Jul 2016 show in Paris, France. The official live downloads have made audience recordings obsolete, but I decided to record a few shows on this tour just for the fun of it. After a long and stressful drive to a suburb on the other side of Paris to drop our son at the babysitter's, we arrived late to the show in the middle of "Incident On 57th Street". I started recording during "Reason To Believe" but a few songs later I discovered that the microphone was not properly plugged. I didn't notice until the end of "Sherry Darling". So this recording ended up missing the first six songs... it was a stressful day. The show was solid by all means and it ranks among my favorites. A couple of minutes into "Ramrod" a fuse blew and the power on the stage went down. The band kept playing unplugged for some time but we couldn't hear a thing from where we were. An alarm and a looping call to evacuate the venue were playing on the arena's PA system. Some people left but the power came back (except for the screens) more than 14 minutes later and the band resumed "Ramrod". I didn't edit out any of the intermission and you can even hear me and my wife talking over the recording. The microphones were clipped to my shirt around my chest. The recording quality turned out to be not bad. The sound is a bit boomy and there's some crowd noise around me and some occasional close chatter, screaming, and clapping, but overall it's enjoyable. Thanks Javier for lending me the mics. This recording fits on three audio CDs. I recommend to split the discs between "The River" and "Point Blank" and between "Jungleland" and "Born To Run". I also recorded the second night in Paris and the result is better. Enjoy, Eddy (16 Jul 2016)
