Bruce Springsteen / Light Of Day 2012 Paramount Theater, Asbury Park, NJ January 14, 2012 Recorded and edited by Bull Lineage: Core Sound LC binaural mics > Zoom H1 (96kHz/24-bit) > Audacity (raised volume 5dB, plus an extra 5dB on "Incident" and "Thunder Road") > CDWave (track splits and downsampling to 44.1kHz/16-bit) > FLAC level 6 This recording is made from the 4th row, quite centre. A great spot for seeing the show, but not that good a taping position. With guard standing right next to me most of the time, I had to start my recorder before entering the room, just hoping everything would turn out OK. So the input level was a bit low (to be on the safe side), and I had the mics under my wool sweater during the entire show. All in all still a nice recording. NOTE: This file set is the 44.1kHz/16-bit ("red book" CD standard) version of this file set. The files are also available in full 96kHz/24-bit quality. This file set is a collection of the tracks where Bruce Springsteen played during LoD12's main concert at the Paramount theatre in Asbury Park. The whole night was recorded, and will be available on the net in both 96kHz and 44.1kHz versions later. This is another recording than Bickle's (edited and posted by Bakerstuff).I have not included the two Houserockers tracks where Bruce didn't play. They will be included in the file set from the complete night, along with lots of other great acts. Bruce Springsteen is one of the many great musicians who's played at Light of Day during the years. "Light of Day" is a non-profit organization located in New Jersey, with the goal to raise money for research on Parkinson's Disease. LoD is started and run by Bob Benjamin, who himself got Parkinson's at the age of 38. The Light of Day concerts started out as a celebration of Bob's birthday, and in its 12th year it has grown into an international event, with a small tour in Europe and Canada i november-december, followed by a show in New York and then four days of music in Asbury Park, New Jersey. This set of songs only shows a small small part of all the great music played during those days.
