This is a remaster of the fine Bakerstuff recording that can be found in unmolested condition at http://www.jungleland.dnsalias.com/torrents-details.php?id=35230 or http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=404036

This remaster incorporates the following changes:

A)  Raising of the right channel 2 dB to match the left channel
B)  Minor re-EQ to bring up the low bass and mid-range frequencies (where Bruce's vocal is)
C)  Moderate dynamic range compression to even out the volume, follwed by an overall boost to the amplitude
D)  Some minor retracking and addition of fades at the beginning and end of the discs (yes I'm old fashioned and still burn to disc so I can listen in my car)

For those of you who don't know Newark is New Jersey's largest city and was devastated by race riots in 1967, which were followed by an extended period of economic hardship. In 1996, Time magazine ranked Newark "The Most Dangerous City in the Nation" and every mayor since 1962 (except the current one, Cory Booker) has been indicted for crimes committed while in office. In recent years, however, Newark has begun to turn around economically and Bruce's decision to play the Prudential Center, opened in 2007, for the first time is encouraging.  Hopefully it was the first of many shows to be played at this venue.
