I fixed a little glitch at the beginning of the spoken intro to "Glory Days" (at 0:46). "The Promised Land" is cut at the beginning, missing about 22 seconds. The taper repositioned the recording equipment towards the end of "The Promised Land", causing sound problems (3:47-4:18). It seems that he also increased the gain at this point. "Highway Patrolman" is cut at the beginning, missing the (brief) spoken intro and about 20 seconds from when Springsteen starts singing. "Cadillac Ranch" is cut at the beginning, missing only about 4 seconds of music. -------------------------------------------------- Notes: This is an audience recording from the 06 Jul 1984 show at Cincinnati, OH. Two other sources have been in wide circulation, and this is a third source that, as far as I know, is the first time that it gets transferred from tape and put into circulation. This source (recorder 3) was transferred from analogue cassette to digital audio tape around 2001. hobbes4444 received in a DAT trade around 2001-2002 and transferred it to .wav in May 2016. The DAT had "Analog Master > DAT, Nakamichi CM300 mics" written on it. But from listening, it might actually be from a 1st generation analogue cassette. The sound is very good but a bit distant. It's the complete show (almost) aside from some edits on the first side between songs. See known faults above. This transfer fits on three audio CDs. Recommend disc separation is between "My Hometown" and "Born In The U.S.A." and between "Bobby Jean" and "Racing In The Street". Enjoy, Eddy (31 May 2016)
