It sounds like the taper was a bit farther back in the crowd, but for the most part, still captures a fairly decent recording from the overhead P.A., marred perhaps only by a particularly enthusiastic whistler near the taper. According to the Brucebase, Springsteen was in town for a few days; shooting a video for Dancing In The Dark at the same venue on Thursday 28 June, then officially starting the tour the next night. Oddly enough, there is no record of a Saturday show, and then this concert takes place on Sunday. “Born In The USA” is missing; something happened during “Glory Days”; the tape is shut off and cuts the song short, then starts up again for “Used Cars”, missing “The Promised Land”.
