Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Rosemont Horizon Chicago, Illinois July 15, 1984 (2nd Generation) Transfer: 2nd Generation Tape > Nakamichi DR-01 (azimuth adjusted) > Sound Devices USB Pre2 > Audacity 1.3.11 > Peak Pro 6 (pitch adjusted) iZotope RX / Ozone 5 (mastered) > xACT 2.37 > FLAC 01 Born In The USA 02 Prove It All Night 03 Out In The Streets 04 Atlantic City 05 Open All Night 06 The River 07 Darlington County 08 Glory Days 09 The Promised Land 10 Nebraska 11 My Hometown 12 Badlands 13 Thunder Road 14 Cadillac Ranch 15 Hungry Heart 16 Dancing In The Dark 17 Sherry Darling 18 I'm On Fire 19 No Surrender 20 Pink Cadillac 21 Fire 22 Bobby Jean 23 Backstreets 24 Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) 25 Jungleland 26 Born To Run 27 Street Fighting Man 28 Detroit Medley Known Faults: -Pink Cadillac: last note cut -Fire: first few notes cut First of three shows in Chicago and the fifth multi-night stand in a row to open the Born In The USA Tour. So far there is only one source circulating, this share comes from my second generation tape and is a nice material upgrade. The two most common circulating versions each have issues this transfer corrects. The first currently circulating version is a second generation tape > CDR > CDR (?). It is missing the first few notes and last note of "Pink Cadillac", the start of "Fire" is cut as well as having a gap in "Badlands" and overall runs slightly fast. The second version is from a CDR trade and has issues with dragging at the end of "The River", contains the same cuts and gap and overall runs slow. This share, from my second generation tape, removes all additional media lineage and runs at the correct speed. The gap in "Badlands" has been seamlessly removed and I believe the direct transfer using high fidelity equipment takes it up a notch in quality. Additionally, I've removed any close to the taper invasive noises. It's a fine representation of an early tour show and overall quality is excellent. Samples provided and artwork includedÉ mjk5510
