Volume 39 of the DS Archives is a nice upgrade to Recorder 1 for the first night in Toronto on the opening leg of the 'Born In The U.S.A.' Tour.

The capture is upfront and close to the stage with little to no crowd noise taken from a very low generation. Two patches were required from the Recorder 2 'mackeck' master. Unfortunately, with this low generation with have further confirmation the pitch issues at the end of "Detroit Medley" are most likely on the master tape. Coincidently, the 'mackeck' Recorder 2 master also suffers from severe pitch issues at the end of 'Detroit Medley'.

It's a very good performance and opening tour nerves and rustiness are nowhere to be heard no that the band is a month in.
