Cracking 30 song set from the 9th show into the tour, the band had warmed up enough by now and were starting to steam. Great rendition of Midnight Hour outside of the encores, I get the impression this was one of those wobblers Bruce often throws the band.
This show seems to be doing the rounds with the first three songs missing. This version is taken from a private tape and contains the complete set. Sound is fairly reasonable for that leg of the tour, a bit of hiss here and there, but left there, as most prefer this to hiss reduction.
A few tape turns / cuts in the audience bits - taper must have got bored. Does not affect music. The only real glitches are the cut in BTR, which starts part way in, by this time the taper had just nipped out for some more tapes; probably never realized how long Bruce was gonna start playing on this tour ˆ the golden rule, don‚t tape Bruce with only 2 C90‚s. Then, the slight end cut in Detroit Medley; this has had a fade out added to ease the pain.
