Concert includes Bob Seger making a guest appearance on the second version of "Thunder Road" which suffers from distortion. Bruce forgets the words of "Born To Run", which opens a show for the first time. Roy plays "Once Upon A Time In The West" as a prelude to "The River", as he will on and off throughout the tour. Clarence sings the opening lines of "Stagger Lee" as an introduction to "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)". This introduction will feature regularly during the first leg of the tour. Audience tape available on CDR 'First River Show' and 'The River Tour Opening Night' as well as from a low generation 2012 tape transfer (mjk5510). Notes: This was amongst the many tapes that Bickle laid at my doorstep back in 2008. It is marked as 1st generation, so it may be closer to the master than the excellent mjk5510 edit done in 2012, although it is the same recording, as are the earlier versions. It is not a great upgrade but is does sound(to my old ears) as a very slight, crisper version. Enjoy, Ivan
