The two-part documentary will feature Bruce explaining the soundtrack of his life from the early impact of Doo-wop that emanated from the family radio in the 1950s, to the thrill of Elvis's Rockabilly rebellion, Dylan's evocative and potent new language, soul music's deep spiritual connection and punk's raucous power. He talks about the purity and beauty of some of the legends of American country and folk music, like Hank Williams and Woody Guthrie. Bruce learned all he could about the legendary artists who inspired him, studying their techniques and diligently mastering the art of crafting a cinematic pop song.
