Notes from info file:

Here's something from Bruce Springsteen's most recent performance for the Light of Day Benefit. Attended by long time taper Ken G. The recording got a late start and the first song cuts in.

Bruce took the stage shortly before midnight, and stayed there for about an hour and 50 minutes. And that's not counting his guest appearances earlier in the evening, with LaBamba's Big Band and Willie Nile.

During his own set, he sang both classics "Thunder Road," "The Promised Land," "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and rarities "Hearts of Stone," "Save My Love," "Frankie Fell in Love". He opened with a solo acoustic version of "Janey, Don't You Lose Heart."

Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers backed him after that, and proved nearly as versatile as the E Street Band itself, excelling at everything from "Racing in the Street" to "From Small Things" and "Adam Raised a Cain" and "Because the Night."

The sound quality is somewhat distant and sometimes slightly overdriven. The vocals to have a light crackle from time to time. Due to the distance and random distortion, I'd rate this about a [B] for quality.

Enjoy
George
